Monrovia, Liberia:

On behalf of Dr. Margaret Chan (Director-General of the World Health Organization) and Dr. Luis G. Sambo (WHO Regional Director for Africa), the WHO Country Office for Liberia is delighted to donate forty-seven (47) Motorcycles with accessories and assorted medical supplies and equipment to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW). The donation is valued at over US$250,000.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Thousand United States Dollars).
These motorcycles were purchased through a USAID Grant for strengthening the capacity of the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in its outreach activities.
